Blogosphere coincidence

Wow, I lost 18 links overnight. Was I ceremoniously de-linked by a multitude of sites, or were there 18 links to some post of mine from the week before last that finally fell off the front page? Either way, I am ranked as #290 in the Blogosphere Ecosystem whether you look at number of links or daily visits. Just how often do you think that would happen?

I went from 68 to 55. There must have been some sort of clean-up.

I lost 15 yesterday. Again. I think the Bear has been pruning regularly for the past 2-3 weeks, and apparently he sees some reason to trim my links a lot.

Rest assured, we are all feeling the sting. But did you notice that TTLB is now in the top 10! I'm not implying anything, just an observation.

There was indeed a cleanup; certain duplicates and inactive blogs were removed from the Ecosystem. (My old Blogspot blog is gone, for example.)

I lost 4 links - if I'd lost 18 that would have left me a microbe again.
