According to a test I just took at emode.com:
The Religion Test
***, your belief system is best suited to religions that value open mindednessHow do we know? While you were taking this test, we compared your religious beliefs against 10 of the world's most common religions. Your score shows that you share core beliefs with religions that encourage you to find your own spiritual path.
You are attracted to a religion that tolerates mixed beliefs about the existence of God and upholds the idea that there is something to be learned from every religion. You are open to a wide variety of religious and spiritual ideas. You are attracted to spiritual groups that are composed of typically open-minded and intellectual people who actively engage in individual exploration of many different spiritual truths.
[UPDATE: And from my email, they continue with:
***, your religious beliefs have the most in common with Unitarian UniversalismPosted by Tiger at July 27, 2003 07:59 PMDid you know?
What sets Unitarian Universalism apart from other religions is their view on religious tolerance.]
Aw phooey. I was going to take that test myself, but they want a gazillion pieces of personal info first. Grr. Maybe later, when I'm not feeling so paranoid...

Posted by: TwoDragons at July 27, 2003 08:13 PMYes, and after they know everything about you, they will email you about once a week to take their new tests. I actually like emode, though, as their tests have more accurate questions about things than any other site. I may actually join up with the dating site now that they have memberships instead of having to buy credits to send anything. I already have an ad there, but never reply to anyone one because I refused to buy credits, needing 5 to send anything to anyone, and 15 credits were priced at something like $5.00. I could buy some titty dancer a drink for that, like that is ever going to happen. However, as an almost 50 year old man looking still to have a child of my own, it is hard to find anyone who can fulfill my dream no matter what dating site I join. It is not like I do not already have several ads out there that I never get any response from, or if I do, it is usually from some 55 year old grandmother looking for companionship. I am still looking for start my life over after being widowed at age 39.
Posted by: Tiger at July 27, 2003 08:33 PMOh Tiger...I wish you the best of luck finding a good woman to start over with. I couldn't possibly imagine losing my husband--I'd probably spend most of my life just waiting to die. You have an amazing amount of strength and courage, dear.
Good luck to you!
(Oh, my Dad is an ordained UU minister, and I and my hubby got UU ordained too--so if you DO find a prospective wife, let me know and I'll set ya up right, OK? *grin*)

Posted by: TwoDragons at July 27, 2003 11:30 PMJust how difficult is it to become ordained as a UU minister? Maybe I should become one myself.
