OK, finally found have it looking good on my computer. I am not sure how it looks in Opera, Mozilla, or anything older than IE Version 6, but I like how it looks. What do you have to say about the new look? It didn't take me, what, 3 days? Not bad for a Geek/0™, huh?
[Update: It looks really crappy in Netscape 7.02 but plays OK in MSN Explorer 7.02 OK. It seems there is an update for Netscape available. I am unsure how Netscape 7.01 is an update for 7.02. In the meantime, if it looks like crap, try looking at it in IE. ;) ]
Posted by notGeorge at September 14, 2003 02:14 PMHey Tiger, the site looks GREAT! Well Done!
Posted by: Psycho Dad at September 14, 2003 03:38 PMI sense that this is "Tiger Orange" instead of "Burnt Orange". I know you're as ashamed of the Longhorns as I am, but it would provide a better contrast. Also, the yellow font used for links could be changed to something that's a little easier on the eyes. Or, I could just get a better monitor.
Posted by: Norbizness at September 14, 2003 03:46 PMSorry Tig --- total crap in Mozilla. Browser compatability testing is no fun...

Posted by: N.Z. BEar at September 14, 2003 04:45 PMDon't look too good from here neither...
lol
I have IE 4.5 for Mac
Fwiw, since I've abandoned broadband and gone back to dialup, I use lynx as my main browser for surfing my long list of favorite blogs, (yes, you're on that list), and your site looks great and works great on the lynx browser.
For speed and simplicity, it's really hard to beat lynx. ;)
Posted by: Roscoe at September 14, 2003 07:36 PMBack again, after looking at your new design through my 3 "graphics" browsers, all on a Linux (Debian Sarge) platform.
With Mozilla 1.3-4 the site is pretty much unreadable.
With Opera 7.11 it looks great.
With Konqueror 3.1.1 it looks great.
Two out of three ain't bad. ;)
Posted by: Roscoe at September 14, 2003 08:02 PMVery hip for Halloween.
Looks good on my PC using IE 6.0 and looks just as fabulous on my Mac using IE 5.2
