The Amber Alert ticker

As you members of the USURP Society might not be aware, there is a JavaScript which alerts people about missin' children available. I have added it to my blog and I suggest that there is no reason not to add it to your blog, so as a responsible blogger, I am asking all members to add such script to your blog.

Already had it!

I just get disturbed by how often it goes amber--and stays that way... I got a Child Identification kit this week, and I'm going to be putting in the necessary data and samples tomorrow. I shudder to even imagine Zane being snatched--but I also know that ignoring that nightmare doesn't mean it couldn't potentially come true.

Yep, it was one of the first things I ever added to my blog...convinced the Emperor to get it for his too.

The more blogs that have one, the better. Just like Denita said, it's disturbing how often it alerts and how long the alert lasts.

With all these blogs and all the readers, who knows...one day...maybe one of us will be able to rescue a kid and put the kidnappers behind bars.
