Special Edition: Five Footnotes for the Friday Five

The Friday Five? Oh, HELL, why not ... I am forkin' bored anyway.

  1. What was the last song you heard? "You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man "- Loretta Lynn
  2. What were the last two movies you saw? Cherish and A Gun, A Car, A Blonde 1
  3. What were the last three things you purchased? A Cinnamon Roll, a bag of Pork Skins and a pair of slim Pepperoni Sticks
  4. What four things do you need to do this weekend? Wash a lot of dirty dishes, clean my house, wash a lot of clothes and redo my blog template 2
  5. Who are the last five people you talked to? My friend John Parker, who owns the neighborhood convenience store, his lovely wife Caroline, his sweet little angelic daughter Cheyene,3 Joyce, one of my friends from Fossil Rim Wildlife Center,4 and a Mr. Ploof who I ran into in the parking lot as I was departin' said store who told me that he was plannin' on votin' for me because he likes people who had have a sense of humor 5

1 It was a movie full of wasted talent.

2 These are the same things I have on my todo list every weekend, and as usual, I feel I have really accomplished somethin' if I get a single one of them completed before bedtime on Sunday.

3 I was listenin' to the tragic tale of the day's aborted hayridem an event she had been preparin' for all week, when she was reminded she was late for a friend's birthday party (at The Fat Guy's place, by the way).

4 Some of ya'll new readers might not be aware that I volunteer at this exceptional zoological facility as a docent naturalist.

5 I was alarmed that he was even aware my blog existed. ;)
