Decisions, decisions, decisions

I am dead in the middle of a major change of some sort in my life. I ain't real sure what change that might be and, as fearless as I am on a usual basis, I am quakin' in my boots wonderin' which way to turn: right, left, north, south, up, down, in or out? I can't decide and don't know where to go for help. I miss my momma. End of report.

[Addendum: I am almost 50 years old and it has been a long long time since I last cried. For some reason, I jes' started to do so. End of addendum.]

Facts they don't tell you:
All major changes are scary.
Everyone wants their momma at some time you think you've outgrown.
Everyone cries, in a quiet pocket of private doubt and despair, every now and then. It's good for you.

And everyone, well, everyone here at The Cheese, sends you a hug and a hankie.

I think it's a good sign that you're wanting your momma. In my book it means you haven't lost the base of who you are, and that the fear you're feeling is completely natural.

But change is a bear, and, as LeeAnn said, all major change is scary.
