OK, blog has moved

You have probably noticed that the blog has moved from http://tiglaw.com/blog/Tiger-rant.html to http://tiglaw.com/blog/

This change, although not something that I wanted to so, was necessary to fix a bug wherein I could not effectively send pings to blogrolling.com with my main page named something other than index. I do apologize for the change and hope that all of you will adjust your links and bookmarks accordingly. I have not yet detemined what effect this will have on permalinks, but do not think such will be affected. I likely have other links within my blog that will need to be adjusted and if anyone notices any that go to http://tiglaw.com/blog/Tiger-rant.html please do inform me so that I may correct the errors.

[Sorry about the mistake a few minutes ago. I ftp'd the wrong index file into the blog folder. That is why I did not name this blog file index in the first place.]

Replace the http://tiglaw.com/blog/tiger-rant.html with a page that redirects visitors to:

http://tiglaw.com/blog/

That way no one will be lost.
I'm sending you a text file that will do the trick.

PS - Don't forget to update the base location of your blogroll at Blogrolling to the new URL. That way when people search for those who blogrolled them your blog will showup with the new location.

Yes, I did that. I wonder what it will do to my stuff at the Ecosystem? Oh well, not like it is accurate anymore anyway.

The old site rolled over to an entry screen and then direct here.

Hey, it's short and sweet; long "id" numbers drive me nuts...the California drivers license had an ID number that went half way across the license.

Tiger,

What you need to do is edit your Ecosystem data making the "old" version an alternate URL. This won't be a problem unless you have a lot of stuff still linked to an old blogspot site or something.

You also need to change the "MAIN" url on all your templates to actually send you to your index page.

I thought I had done so several times. I amazed me that the old URL was on that template so many times. I think after this rebuild, everything will point back to the right address.
