Why fight Glenn Reynolds?

I just want to point out that Rocket Jones got mentioned on InstaPundit yesterday, and look at this. It is unbelievable what one little blurb on the Blogfather's site will do for your visitation rate*, huh? Here is hoping it boosts that visitation rate on a continual basis!

An Instalanche is great for the ego but in the long run it does very little for the daily hit count.

I've been linked by Instapundit twice (on my old Blogspot blog) and I'm still pissed off about the first one. It was on 9-11-02 and he linked to the Tolkein quote that I posted and completely ignored the essay that I had worked on for almost a month. (damn you, Glenn) No, seriously, I do appreciate every link but it would have been nice to get all those extra readers for my own writing instead of Tolkein's.

Yeah. What? Did I misspell it? Oops. I guess I did. Anyway this is the little bit that got me my first Instalanche.

I checked the tags, Lynn, and I did not see why it posted that way either. From the way the tags were displayed, all of the quoted text should have been italicized. Go figure?
