With a little help from my friends

OK, I am attempting to consider Ted's comments about the cluster fuck that is my blog and I cannot think of any way to change it to make it better or more interestin' than it already is, other than changin' authors to a more skilled and interestin' writer. I am, however, eager for other ideas. Anyone got any good ideas?*

*And, no, I really do not think postin' a picture of me in Bermuda shorts will do anythin' to improve readership. ;)

well, now, i don't know about that...consider your female readers! i am sorry, but i don't have any real problem with your blog. don't change anything unless you really want to!

I agree Tiger, don't change the format unless *you* want to, especially because I remember how hard you worked on it last time.

One definite thing to consider: add a little spacing here and there, because part of the clutter in your middle column seems to be because your various lines are jammed together (date header, title, 'posted by', comments, etc).

I like your blog, Tiger. I think in many cases a blog design is representative of the author. Yours is all over the place, just like your writing. That was meant as a compliment. I think your writing style in a different format wouldn't be "you". Just like in story telling, the atmosphere makes the story.

I'd tell Ted "thanks for the opinion, now kindly kiss my ass".

Bermuda shorts? I would wear them with the left leg
"bermuda-ed" and the right regular length-- to cover the
varicose veins! Blog design? You know me, it's the 'thought' that counts not how it is techically presented!

Since you didn't ask for my opinion, and I can plead feverish delirium if you hate the idea, I think your three columns are too similar in size for the eyeballs to easily adjust. The post column needs to be a little wider and the two sidebars a little narrower. But remember, I am the woman who thinks teal and pink are fabulous colors for a blog, so factor that into your acceptance or rejection of my advice...
(Also, a little more color! Some flowers! A few throw pillows! ;)
